Actress, singer and beauty queen Dayanara Torres Delgado was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 28, 1974. She first gained international fame when she won the Miss Universe pageant in 1993. After that, she became a huge celebrity in her hometown and in the Philippines, where she stayed for five years. She later returned to Puerto Rico to release her debut album Antifaz, and in 2002, she married singer Marc Anthony. They divorced in 2004. Julia Rivera is played by Dayanara Torres on MyNetworkTV's American telenovela, Watch Over Me. Julia is a lovely graduate student who is set to marry multimillionaire Michael Krieger.
