Braided hair has been one of the favorite trends for hairstyles in the past few years. Part of its success is that you can reinvent it in 1000 ways, and you can pair it with very different clothes and therefore you can use it in every occassion. From the very obvious boho chic braids with loose hair upto the most sophisticated braided dos for an evening gala.
It's the ultimate summery trend, because it allows you to keep you hair high without having to cut it in the very hot days or nights.
Braids go for almost any hairlenght (really short bobs and pixie haircuts are not totally excluded but they are much for difficult to innovate) and definitely for any hair color, think of dip-dyed trends, bold red hair (like Rihanna's) and the infinite possibilities!
You can play the Greek goddess role with a braided do, like the very famous look of Serena's character in the first episode of Gossip Girl season 2.
Or you can give a try to a French braid headband inspired in runway looks and rocked by many stylish celebrities like Sienna Miller.
Finally, you can try the messy side braid for a carefree but not less stylish look ( Diane Kruger's approach) a romantic braided do with a bow, headband or tiara and the always unique fish braid.
Sadly, I'm incapable of doing very complicated braids on my own hair, so I frequently have to ask for help (or go to a hairsalon) to get them done. I'll be trying out different tutorials, to see if I can fix this (I really love braids!!!) and show you which ones are detailed enough for inexpert hands like mine. Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of the pics* and get some braids for your hair!!! :)
